As a high school dropout in 83 and 84 I would listen to this vinyl album over and over getting plastered out of my mind knowing I was going nowhere and I'm sure this song in particular helped me to get sober once and for all a few years later now I'm here at 58 and Counting doing well thank God and the power of this album ... I also remember finding terror when I realized that the Bridge of Sighs is aptly named because it is said men would Breathe a deep sigh Crossing it over into the dungeon where they would never see the day of light again and I just knew something like that was coming down the pike for myself as well
